I did the first ever concept drawing over breakfast, posted it right here on kiteforum almost 3 years ago on a thread! I would say I was the first person to come up with the idea. Gotta have some kind of claim to fame cos i seem to fail elsewhere.
By making this claim it will be interesting to see if anyone can counter it. I have worked on patents before and as far as i know you cannot patent something as your own idea if there is prior artwork of the concept.
I really want one of these!
The idea came to me as i was thinking about how low drag foils are - I had seen a couple of motorized surfboard riding around at my local beaches and i was like - hey foil!....low friction - electric motor - impeller - battery technology (was working marketing Solar/ the coming Telsa Batteries at the time) - WTF that totally adds up! Eureka
