I've got to run it through gps action replay, but recently hit a new max speed of 35.9 mph (about 57.8 kph) on delta Hydrofoil, 11m sonic2 on 15m lines, flat water, about 15 or 16 kts of wind. Suunto doesn't seem to show speed over distance but I had a a 30 second average over 30 mph (50 kph).
Was in a narrow channel with shallow water on either side so couldnt go very far at that speed, but it was nice and flat.
I think I can go faster. I can hold the 11m in much more wind. Had a ding on the foil that I have since filled in. I'll try for longer distances at speed now.

It was. Sorry - my mistake.
However 558 is slower than 580 you should reach 50kmh too.
Gunnar - you are the KING of speed!
where did you achieve 32kts on 500m distance? Fuerte? What kite did you use and what was the sea state?

Hi Dude,
This was on my usual training course between Flag Beach and the RIU Hotels. It exactly 1km long. So that is why the average over 1000m is lower than the 500m as there is at least one gybe in there.
I used the Ozone R1V2 13m, 12m Lines. It was rough seas and pretty choppy as it was about 20-25 knots wind that day.

That is impressive considering you have designed, made and piloted this kite yourselve.
If I am right your design goals where not purely speed, but also less cells for low wind performance. Your design is very much proven I would say...

Thanks BraCuru !
I had really good conditions lately and improved my best speeds !
I didn't analyse my track with GPS AR yet but the readings on my GT-31 were a max speed of 36,9kts (1 sec) and 34,8kts best 10 seconds
