It really depends on your weight and what your riding discipline is really the 550 is for lighter riders and the 548 for heavier riders IMO I'm 225 and prefer the 548 for free ride/ocean waves with my weight.550 a bit faster too,but after a few years foiling I don't mind slowing down a bit enjoying the waves more.I believe the MHL/slingshot foil is very similar to the 2015 MHL foil with the triangular fuselage which I have and ridden extensively too, great foil too, comes down to preference really the fluente is a bit faster especially w 550 wing than the MHL and the MHL has a bit longer mast so a bit more Cadillac stable ride especially when choppy, both excellent foils really if you want to race or go faster go with the Moses, bit slower cruisy riding especially for bigger riders edge to MHL,another nice thing is moses has more wing/mast options as the 2015 MHL is no longer in production so that has to be considered too.On another note I've been riding the new MHL with a 150 wing just love that foil can't get enough riding that set up,save that for another thread though.
So I'm about to test both:
- the 548 wing with 330/325 stabilizers on 42"/28" masts
- Lift 150 on 36" mast

And a cherry on top, not lightwind really
- the 545 (aka 558) wing with 330/325 stabilizers on 42"/28" masts
Perhaps I might of missed it but your weight is a player, and your local conditions too.Like I said for a heavier rider really no contest for me as after many hours on both really like the new MHL 150 wing w 36 mast definitely gets the edge for ocean/swell riding free-riding just a great all around foil my favorite after couple years plus foiling. The Moses is a good foil as well faster good quality foil, just prefer the 150 MHL wing/mast package, another thing to think about is the fuselage weight is heavier(alum alloy) on the
Moses which can be a factor on water starts especially riding strapless as the foil/fuse wants to sink faster than a CF fuse, basically you have a hair more time as the foil will float a bit longer, which if you ride strapless is helpful,be curious to see what your or others take is on it?keep us posted

Can you please comment what do you think Lift 150 mast is made of? Received 32" mast and it doesn't look like carbon, rather as ABS molded plastic...

Any updates?
Got to this point and I thought someone had pinched the last pages of information.
I have the 2 Moses stabilisers 330 and 325, laid side by side the difference is huge but as I am still trying to nail foiling gibes I don't want to swap gear around as it will confuse my tiny brain as to what's happening and why.
As for the front wings I have settled on the 548 as it definetly saves many cavitation events, but as I am getting better it might well be that my improving skill is saving me as well, but for now my 550 wing will not get used until I crack those gibes.
I have managed 2 up to now, both on the same day, but the toe side exit shocked me so much as I was still up and moving quite quickly I panicked and lost it, but it's good to see others are at exactly the same point of frustration as I am, I am not the youngest, lightest or fittest kite foiling example, but I can be the most determined.
Returning to this forum after 15 years of standard kiteboarding has been worthwhile as it gives me pointers and encouragement.

I've been riding both new Moses and LIft 2017 and keep coming back to Lift 110 wing and 36 or 40" masts. Lift is slower than Moses, but that also means skatier and super playful for carves, waves and freestyle. Loooove it! Moses is faster and feels more locked in, even on 548. Moses is still great for waves and hard carves on days when blowing over 18 miles or so. You can actually feel G's when carving on Moses vorace on 548 wing.

For slower days, Moses is not as good as since 548 wing needs more speed to keep on foil.

Keeping both Moses and Lift. Using Cloud D's as kites - match made in heaven.

150 Lift wing - awesome wing, but would only use it when wind is 9-10 miles or less. 130 for 10-12 mile days and 110 for 12+

I'm 78 kg Dry. Found the 548 wing had too much lift at speed. 550 actually going as slow as 548, but has less lift at speed. Cruising around my GPS says my top speeds without pushing it are about the same on 550 and 548. The rear stab 330 vs 325 has huge influence on character..
What I experienced so far is the 330 is very stable and 325 is kind of twitchy and very loose. What purpose does 325 serve the best? Why would you intentionally put it on for?

Waveriding, freestyle for doing 180s, 360s, after you get good on your foiling feet switching the 325 gets better then the 330 for almost everything.

The roll stability on the 325 is much less. As is yaw, which makes it more manoeuvrable, but more difficult. I'm not ready for it yet.
