Noob mistake: setup stabilizer wing below fuselage instead of above (fin/stab reversed)

So Saturday I switched stabilizer with fin around fuselage like a noob. (zeeko foil)
Wind was really light, onshore and very choppy, I couldn't get up for half an hour, maybe my 8th session after 6/8 weeks of no foiling so I thought I needed to bring my foil game back.
After a while I was able to foil for 3 seconds putting all my weight on back foot way back. That's when I realized something must be wrong. popped wing out of the water and saw fin was above fusleage and wing down.
I guess wing angle of attack is big deal lol, the foil was literally trying to take a dive as soon as I would getup on board, being on a shinn el stubbo (no volume board), the board was sinking fast ;)

I did the same mistake on my first day of foiling with the exact same setup :) I still remember saying in my head WTF it is sooooo hard to foil!! ;)

Glad you sorted that out.
Were you able to find somewhere to foil by your rental in salvo? Going Friday can't wait.
