Thoughts anyone? Nice to get it close to right this time of year. Water is cold and launch land a pain.
Thanks!
The dwarf craft will be similar to my Groove Skate as in the photo above on which I set the back edge of the mast at 15cm from the back of the board, with the middle of the front strap 83cm from the rear edge of the board, this felt perfect after 2 days of sailing in very light to fully powered conditions in waves and swell.oregonkiter wrote: ↑Sun May 20, 2018 4:23 pmGoing to mount a demo 633 on the short Dwarfcraft--3'6". I have the rear edge of the mast plate set at "4" on 42" Dwarfcraft with 633 wing. Pointed at "7.5" with 590 wing.Pedro Marcos wrote: ↑Sun May 20, 2018 10:17 pmAll backoregonkiter wrote: ↑Sun May 20, 2018 4:23 pmGoing to mount a demo 633 on the short Dwarfcraft--3'6". I understand that 633 provides more lift and stall speed is further reduced so that any manouver attempts could be practised at lower speeds. What I do no not understand so far: isn‘t it a con that kite sizes needed are smaller so that support through tacks is (significantly) lower than in a „regular combo“ ? What does 633 make so special compared to early planning foils like Cabrinha Double Agent or Naish Thrust which are more judged as beginner foils ?
It’s a premium carbon wing, light, riding smooth without vibration or singing and matching same masts you use for faster wings.
