How far from the back of the board are the tracks starting?
4cm back from the original rear bolt hole.
I would put it more to the back, the problem is that then maybe you cannot use the 550 wing in the best setup anymore, unless your tracks are really long.

It will be better to put about 18 cm from tail.
I´ve been riding my 548 about 20 cm from tail and 637 about 22 .
All rails in my boards are about 18 or 18´5 cm from tail and can trim all my wings .
Always 25 cm rails

Its important to say whats your board, we are talking about the T60 footstraps position here, if you have a more "racy" board, you will have your front straps more forward, which allows you to no put the foil so much to the back :)

Yes, the distance from the "tail" is irrelevant, what matters is the mast placement in relation to your center of gravity with is a combination of the weight of the board and your weight and where it is placed given footstrap locations. If you are strapless then more flexible of course. The issue with the T60 is that with the mast fixed and the straps as forward as possible you couldn't get your CG forward enough to ride comfortably. Allowing the mast to be back from the normal hole position solves that issue.

So on the T60, where in relation to the center of the mast does the back foot have to be placed to allow a comfortable ride with the 633 wing?

I am currently using T60 / 590 combo and use the middle setting for the back footstrap.

You’ll need to move feet position 1”-1.5” forward changing from 590 то 633 (and mast position fixed)

I have been using the 633 on the T60 for a few months now and have been on the water with it for around 3 weeks solid every day.
I developed a very comfortable stance in that time, with the forward strap right at the front, and my back foot half way between the front and rear strap, when out in waves I had to move my rear foot even further forward which I was told looked a little bizarre, but felt good to me and I was able to work the board hard Into turns, and press down hard when needed on the waves.
The tracks are long that are being fitted so will suit all and any wing combination, in fact I am off the the custom shop tonight to pick it up.

Hi thanks to both grigorib and foil for your help. Just one point: I assume you are using the same kites with your 633 as you did with your other wings, in the same conditions? Or have you started using smaller kites with the 633?

The 633 feels nicer underpowered, so i always use around 2 sizes smaller when i go play with it.

Pedro, how do you manage to keep a much smaller kite in the air? I am using moses 590 with 15m chrono2 in 8-10 knots. I doubt if I could keep my chrono2 11 in the air in the same 8-10 knots before I can get on the foil (i.e. before I get the added lift of the 633). What is the technique? Keep kite moving?
