So back in the day (could be 2004?) the carbon foil was a lot more expensive and I remember a buddy of mine hit his on the reef and the whole thing just exploded. After that I was weary...the carafino foil was carbon, but a bit inconsistent in terms of quality...and it seemed sometime the cloth was oriented the wrong way etc. Kind of silly things because the pricepoint was good.Peter_Frank wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2017 9:46 pm
Get a carbon foil instead Taut - problem solved and you can let everything "stick" as long and salty as you want
Never ever hose anything down - it is a really welcome luxury that is great when you ride often, besides having a smoother and lighter hydrofoil now

So I asked my dealer and he said that had been nothing....but I mean he would say that...hmm actually I do not think he would bullshit me, but its still so new new that anecdotal data shouldn't be deciding that.cglazier wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2017 5:18 amOur local North dealer has not had any foils delivered yet from North. It sounds more like North wants to ensure everything is durable before they put it in stores.
But this is a Naish topic and I haven’t heard any problems with that foil. Any first hand reports?
