Spotted these on Facebook and wondering who's foil this is? And the specs? Looks like he's using longer mast and higher AR wings than the usual Go Foil / Naish surf foils

Is there a backstory to the pics? Is he being towed into the backflip, is there a wave? Or did he pump into the backflip? The latter would be INSANE! LOL

After looking at the full sequence on Facebook, it looks like he's lauching from a wave.
I think the rear wing looks a lot like Spotz (RIP
) Tuna back wing. Maybe it's not a coincidence as I've seen pictures and video of Kai riding a Spotz Tuna.

Agree with SparD, mast looks alot like a Spotz shark mast but with plate mount. Same for the fuse and tail wing

You're suggesting that Naish made no effort to RRD their products and copied someone else?
HAHAHA

The front wing design is based on a boomerang. When you fall off the board it will naturally want to come back.

That front wing is quite different than the Tuna. Much lower aspect and greater surface area, quite flat with just the tips turned down. Slow enough to stay on the wave with lots of lift .The bastard child of a LF - Thrust union perhaps.
What Facebook sequence?

I must say it looks beautiful, quite organic shape, well proportioned, smooth curves all around, really something Nature could have "designed" over the years (quite a few of them). As opposed to, for instance, the angular North foil with winglets, whose design could be qualified of industrial, or may I say German-engineered.
When you're exposing your appendix to the world, it might as well be good looking!
