Hello.

Okarbon is a small company from Slovenia.
We began our buisness with building world fastest RC sailplane in 60inch category.

Our last project is a hydrofoil designed as a full carbon fiber all-arounder (SupFoil, WindFoil, KiteFoil,...).

Our web page is at construction at the moment so the more detail specs of the foil will soon come.
For now you can find us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Okarbon-100886763963077/

We are doing some testing of the foil with kite setup and the results are looking great :D

Some pictures of the testing and some details of the foil.

The way bolt heads are sticking out you'll have hard marketing this.
notOK or in words of Marsellis Wallace "pretty f$@*ing far from OK"

The bolt heads allready have been solved. :thumb:

We poped the mold for the first time and the sunshine outside told us to quickly prepare the foil for the photoshoot. :)

On serial products this will not be an issue.

Looks thick. I bet that's super fun on a kite. What's the area and wingspan?

Looks like huge wing area :)

Not sure why so thick, let the wing bend, does not need to be super rigid:)

Sretno i

Pozdrav !

Iirc ideally the thickness being 9% of the chord and anything more than that slows terminal velocity. What is the ratio?

wow! that whole rig looks so much like my new Moses Onda sup foil, the wing on that is 633 and looks just like it, not a bad thing as I sailed mine for the first time today, so much fun, very maneuverable, fast to fly, smooth as silk, and stall speed is silly slow, and as for stability I took one foot off and sailed along on just one leg.
if this is anywhere near the same then its a winner, looks fab.

It's for the same purpose for almost half the price :)
Not a copy. Don't get me wrong.

All our products are made from scratch and design in 3D CAD, starting with the blank paper.
From our experience in aviation we have the knowhow around the foil profile modifications.
The foil is designed as you mentioned: Slow stall speed and stability.
The thick core creates lift and the winglets on the tips keep the foil stable.

Some more technical details:
-mast: 800mm
-wing :
chord 220mm
span 620mm
-stab:
chord 110mm
span:390
lenght :780mm

Available with:
-Deep tuttle
-Probox
-90mm width kite adapter (adds 100mm to mast lenght)

You're forgetting weight ;)

Carbon all the way, but only if lighter than alu.
