Do race lines help in lightwind? Where/what brand is everyone finding these?

Thanks for the link, that’s the kind of info I was looking for. Didn’t come up much with a search.
Really want to make a backup bar with 27-30 m lines for foiling in light wind.
Anyone know how much more bottom end you would get out of a 12m kite with longer thinner lines?

I don't think they really affect your low end.
They do weigh less and have less drag, but I don't think it's enough to make a real difference. For a 25m lineset, 1mm only saves you 0.1 kg over 1.5 mm lines. I don't think drag on the lines really affects low end where you are limited by power to get up on foil.
I think the only benefit is the race lines make you marginally faster in racing from reduced drag.

Only race for TT, 3 years, would never go back to normal, coz Im light, 60kg. 9-10m jumps.
For any light rider this should be a must.

The difference is very vert noticible especially with long lines in light winds. The benefit of long lines especially to use a smaller kite hydrofoilibg is well known. But the line drag especially with long lines can be felt easily. Short line racers are also looking for every advantage can probably yell. I'm using thin lines just on my light wind long lines bar.
The more rear lines sag, the less responsive the kite is in flying and turning. Also when sheeting out rear line tension is low. A large sag in the rear lines will limit the available forward speed of the kite by increasing AOA when steered out.
I'm using 600 pound q-power pro on the front and 300 pound q power on the back. They are thin lines.

I am running 32m lines with my 13.4m kite and I think it goes as well as my 17m on 20m lines. I would be down around 8 knot mark because of the long lines.

I agree with Jakemoore explanation for light wind. And effect on AOA and agilitu of the kite is mainly on rear line ; And when turning the bar to turn the kite, part of the bar movement will be consumed to first tension the rear line = loss of agility.
Large rear lines will similarly also "Consume" a bit of trim stroke on your bar (Sag curve of large diameter and long rear lines will increase the AOA for a similar trim position.)
