Foil is great for that floating feeling and upwind in super light wind in deep water HOWEVER 10x the sessions does not equal 10x the FUN...I have more fun in 10 knots skim board in beautiful shallow water, carving, slashing, sliding the board than 6 knots foiling in deep water monorail-like ride. At this wind speed Id rather SUP foil or just go surfing and not spend 5k in light wind gear.
But location is so important...our area is very shallow year round, mostly reef with little sand.
For me anyways, foiling in deep water never beets riding strapless in 1 feet shallow clear water on a home made skim. Same stoke 1/20th the price.

Sure, but to play along, if you get 10x the sessions at 1/10th the fun, you're breaking even. If any of those sessions is even 1% more fun than a tenth (which it should be) then you're making a positive ROI. Add into that the proximal fun you induce in others because them watching you foil is more fun for them than watching you skim board, and not only are you getting in a session but you're being altruistic while doing so.
Save the world, buy a hydrofoil.

No, but Zeeko know their shit in a way few others do. It's a sure thing. You can find cheaper, but they kill it for value.
