Hi all I’m just after some info and opinions.
I’ve been riding my Moses T40 for 18 months now and I’m in the market for a new board .
I can mess around all day on the T40 but I’m really enjoying the speed side of things .
Should I get a dedicated race board and accept the fact that it’s going to make life hard again for a while or should I get something that’s more 50:50 .
Who rides race boards and what do you ride ?
Thanks in advance guys

I am favoring the tapered race shape with generous front area and rocker but not all out race dimensions. The pure race boards barely have enough room for your heels and submarine very easily. a 150 x 48 ish with 30L+ volume is a good compromise. I'm coming from a T40, then T60 and now my new one which is custom.

You can get a cheap 2017 Comet these days, its a great race board for me and still have some volume. It does not tolerate riding with it in the water like your T40, for me the T40 its one of the easiest boards ive ridden so far.
