Yes, but we are talking about deepwater relauch in this condition not waterstart. And thats i have yet to see.
In 4 knots it really depends how the kite touched the water, if its just the trailing edge for a few seconds its fine. If one of the surfaces of the kite got all wet then it gets much harder and you must get the kite right in the center of the window with no tangle at all and swim back with one hand while you pull front lines with other, but most of the times you swim :)

Pedro you seem to understand some of the swimming relaunch technique, awesome!

Good we can used the parked speed as a reference. I like to reference my kites behaviour for wind speed over the water, but glassing conditions are usually very light on open ocean. The 5knots standard and 4knots ultralight are long time Flysurfer references which I and others have confirmed through multiple methods. Kites like Pulsion seem to go a bit lower still. I will say getting a kite wet at it's parked limit will then require active flying. Getting a kite wet at it's active flight limit will cause it usually not to fly or relaunch, unless... gust. Being good at relaunch will allow you to take advantage of tiny gusts. You sit on the lines and wait for just a little more pull and go for it.

Always pushing the low limit, most of times entering the water when i can barely keep the kite flying on land (if i can park it, its not on limit, its a perfect day) so ive some swims already :)

That is impressive.

Make sure to maintain your depower or B limit on the kite and have a play with Z to see if you can go lower.

Messing around with kite trim is what is coming next, did already some experiences based on a post in the foil kite session, but hard to feel differences in such light wind.

Looks light! That medium aspect kite looks stable in that wind.

Looks good and light Regis, but why the .... are you wearing gloves in warm summerwater and sun ???

Looks really odd to wear what looks like a full wintersuit normally only for temperatures below zero, at the very warmest time of the year possible

If for sun protection, why not wear a thin lycra or similar instead, and sun screen on top of hands - it saves weight so you can start even earlier, and it is much more pleasant and comfortable than clumsy winter gear, so your transitions will get a lot better also :thumb:

Just curious - you wrote august, and at that time of the year the water is as warm as it can possible be :naughty:
