Wow- gonna be slippery when wet! dont drop that beauty- super work! Weight ?

Be interested to know how the spoon bottom works
I'm not sure what do I want more - ride it or keep the look as it is forever.

Weight starts from a bit more than 2kg of those boards, but I asked for zero flex so the shaper made all the reinforcements and the weight went up.

Hopefully will get a chance to try it so it will be more clear how this bottom works, but I'm pretty sure it works great.

It flies even better than it looks.

Sometimes it flies next to me.

It dates only with Moses.

great photo on the water!
but spill the beans,
did you add yourself to the first photo, or delete yourself?
I can see its the same foil on water photo as the "bow" waves are the same shape, so it now looks like a spot the detached rider.
I think you detached yourself.
clever stuff though.

It's way better. I just pumped way too big kite for that day and sudden gust just pulled me away. The board is so well balanced that the foil keeps riding on it's own whenever I get pulled from the board.

then that is a fantastic picture,
but I would have thought the board would shoot up and clear of the surface.
and that would make a good picture as well.

It is called a... belly bottom. It smooths the touch downs as the energy is not transferred perpendicularly to the water like would do a flat surface bottom which receives a kick-back..
You can try this (not in your bathtub :-? obviously) : first hit the water violently with the flat of your palm, hand wide open. Then same speed with your hand holding a nice round pebble.....
