carbon fuselage will make bigger wings float. Its not good.
I'll be blunt here: if various foil parts have so much difference in buoyancy, then it is sloppily engineered product. The ideal carbon foil for kitesurfing should have density slightly above that of the water, so that the rig would slowly sink allowing plenty of time to waterstart strapless. And if your product has interchangeable parts, like Moses, it is better for all individual parts to have the same density.

As we are having more issues with seaweed every year, I am sure there is a market for a seeweed setup with a more delta shaped wing. The 633 is already great but the stabilizer is collecting quite a bit of weed. So maybe just a deltashaped stabi for the 633...can't wait...

Hmmm, we have periods with spots where seaweed is nasty also...

But I can not see how swept wings will help much, as for me I have to stop if there is seaweed just on the mast, and it will usually get caught on the mast a lot more than the wing, or at least the same amount.

I hate to ride with seaweed on the mast, even if ever so little - and on the wing(s) is a totally no go for me.
Even a tad of eelgrass on the mast is bugger :shake:

Things doesnt work anymore, timing is off, you can not glide through on waves or maneuvers anymore - so I stop and take it off the mast often, and always seek to ride where there is little or no seaweed.

Even at the very same spot, you can usually with only short distance between, find areas with loads, and some that are pretty free of this aaaaargh stuff, around here - or one can drive to another spot to see if it is better - we are spoiled with loads of spots :thumb:

But seaweed can come any day, or leave the day after, particularly if the wind has changed direction it gets bad :x
When weed for weeks, here in the autumn when at its worst - it is a PITA :o :(

It hasnt been bad this year here though

Its been bad around where I sail,
two face plants yesterday, and a few the day before at a different beach,(seaweed of the very heavy big clumps type)its funny as when I jump in to remove the stuff it has already fallen off, or when It slows me down and I bend forward to look for it,
which then topples me forward head first
trying to avoid it is really good slalom practice

Perhaps a sleeker alum fuse...

Alpine's is extremely skinny...of course their wave wing is not as big as the 633...

but Im wondering if its possible to remove more drag from the fuse..

Personally I wish for “633 mountable onto 647 fuselage”
And a 76cm mast

How about a " Travel Mast" that breaks down into 2 parts ? One one part 80cm other part 15/20 cm extension. extension could be at board side and be part of mast plate.
Might also be convenient for people to break down for getting it into car without removing mast from the board.

Pocket travel board that is in 90 and 30cm pieces

only kitesurf version 633 - surf version has heavier wing
I know!
I had one of the first, it was quite heavy to carry when using a long mast, sold it when I got the lighter one, bliss :D
