Sanding the trailing edge and wing tips of the LF Impulse?

Postby matanshapira » Wed Oct 17, 2018 6:04 am

Do you think it's necessary for avoiding cuts?

How sharp is it comparing to other foils? I know that the Lift one can cut you really bad for example, happened to a rider here.

Compared to my other foils my Cloud 9 (LF Impulse) is very dull. I would not sand it.

The dull tips and edges was one of the selling points for me. Seems a lot safer than other foils.

(S24 wing) agreed, mine seems very unlikely to cause a cut, it's about as blunt as "good" wings get. Thankfully, still feels fast and efficient.

The trailing edge of the aluminum mast is far more concerning to me than any aspect of those wings.
