2 foot hooks i the front, nothing i the back.
Easier waterstart and you can move your front foot after the start. The mono strap looks interesting too.

The advantage of the mono front strap is, that you will slide out of it even easier, not the same risk getting you foot caught

Hi,
Any chance someone has close up photo of mentioned "front foot strap"?
Read above that Liquid Force has but did not find on their site?
Thanx!
I learned and still use half cut front foot hook ONLY fixed just a few centimeters in front of front foot sweet spot for water starts in gusty winds and,or
choppy H2O.
R H
By the way never broke one, self made, or had line tangle issues.

To answer a few posted questions.
The super long Liquid Force straps are the ones that are supplied with the Galaxy Board. Should be able to buy them separately.
As far as foot hooks breaking. The older NSI ones broke easily. The newer ones (clear plastic) are stronger. They changed the plastic.

WHY - this doesnt make sense, and seems dangerous...
The more angled a footstrap is, the more it tends to "lock" your foot - so having a single front strap is actually the safest in this very respect.

How does that cross strap go for foot position?
Looks like to use it you will have foot too far forward.

I have been using the setup on this board, a pocket board and now a race board and foil for the past 18 months. Never once have I become locked in during a crash, and there have been a lot.

I use a combination. Rear foot hook and front cross strap.
The front cross strap I have set up so only my toes will fit in. Just helps me to water start.
After suffering a 6 month to heal ankle injury, from being caught in loose straps while riding toe side. Can’t risk going back to straps.
