While were are on the subject of MASTS.....gonna go WAAAAY out on a limb here and ask if ANYBODY can possibly COMPARE the 2018/19 SLINGSHOT mast PROFILE (camber and lenth) and bolt hole position with the standard ZEEKO aluminum masts??
SS mast info below- please post measurements of your Zeeko mast there! :thumb:

So, from the picture and its comment in the previous page, I get that a zeeko fuselage can be mounted in a slingshot hoverglide mast but you may need slightly shorter screws, right?

No; I think the hole spacing on the Zeeko fuse is slightly different, so to make it work you need to enlarge the holes in the fuselage.

You can confirm it by measuring the center-to-center spacing of the holes in your Zeeko fuse, and comparing to the SS mast screw spacing measurements.

My comment under the photo should say NO enlargement of the bolt head recess...

Another view where it can be seen that now enlargement of the bolt head release is required. Only the bolt hole and only for one bolt ie a very minor enlongation of one hole.

Very interesting!

I was considering to get a shorter mast in order to teach my wife! HG mast system seems cheap and nice.

I wouldn't like to do anything in the fuselage (I'll keep using the zeeko mast for me)

Considering that Dmaj-Dmin for the M8 bolt is about 1.3mm, I'll get a pair of M8 screws and file both threads near the head and try with a friends HG mast. If that works I what sant will bring her!!

Excellent idea, will be a close fit but should work even if only on one bolt.

PERFECT!! Im so suprised that we received so much HELP and confirmation with these questions on Mast compatibility!!
I will post the dimensions of the zeeeko Mast in a moment...Great to see the SSHOT mast can work on the Zeeko Fuse...with barely widening the hole...but how about the ZEEKO MAST on the SSHOT FUSE?? Would it stand to reason the the SShot FUSE would ALSO have to be modified?

LOCO4VIENTO!! You owe me SOOOOOO much MONEY!! GGRRRRRRRRRRR :angryfire: :angryfire:
Its pretty much all your fault that Ive invested thousands of dollars and hundreds of thousands of hours on this crazy addiction....shame on you man!! I hope I was the ONLY poor young man whose life you left in tatters by teaching them how to Stack Peter Lynn ARCS.
