Starting to see a few glimpses of the 2019 SS High Roller foil board. It comes in a 4' (122), 4'6"(137) and 5'2"(158).
I understand its target is surf foil, but they have to know someone will be using it for kite foiling or wake foiling.
Any insights on practicality of this design type for kite foiling? I am debating on picking up a SS Dwaftcraft or similar board, but thinking a newer design may have some advantages.
Not looking for race, or ultralight wind performance, just good all around riding in 10-22 knots.

How wide and thick is it?
Beware of thinner less robust deck laminate, the deck takes a surprisingly high load on a kite foil board.
Some people like a non padded deck, but due to heel/feet problems I find a pad is easier on my feet. Front foot takes a big load too.

The smallest of the series is 122 x 48 x 6.8 mm and 29 L. They appear to be fairly thick in the middle and thinner on the ends, concave deck.

Probably work but really thick. Might feel a bit bulky kite foiling..
It's 68mm thick. Not 6,8....

Thanks for the correction on thickness.
With the concave deck and thin front and tail sections if may be be as bulky as it looks. That is the S-Rail design.
I spoke to someone who has both surfed and kite foiled. He is a bigger fellow and says the slightly wider and thicker center section is really nice and touchdowns are as soft as he has seen. It is targeted towards surf foiling. I wonder if some of the design concepts may carry over well into lower speed and wave foiling.
This is not him below.

Whoa! I'm not looking at the board. What I see is a carbon mast and a long carbon plate that looks like it has lots of mounting holes = ability to slide way forward, or back = not being beholden to factory mast track position for larger wings vs smaller wings as you may have inches and inches of adjustability via the plate?! I am guessing this is a new SS mast/foil?
