I was watching the Ozone mixer test video http://ozonekites.com/videos/play/pro-tune-speed-system. I am curious what part of the mixer ozone uses to limit B or is B allowed a lot of travel past slack? In the video they move the B attachment to adjust it, this wouldn't correct the depower limit if that was the limit, i.e. a similar problem Flysurfer mixers have.
Hi Dude,

I have been testing this kite for ozone for over a year. So I have been taking measurements after every session.

In regards to the B on the pro tune system. Have a look:

I am right in thinking that the pro tune system has extended some of the lines speed system lines? Can I use these bridle lengths to make and replace pulley bridles on my standard speed system?

Is there bridle length information for the standard bridle?

No, you just change it over. Pretty straightforward, There is an extra pigtail for the z line, or better still make your own adjustable pigtail for tuning. Biggest advantage is that if you do the long mixer test you can adjust at the speed system without adding loops into the bridle lines. Otherwise its no advantage over Gunnars method.

How about this idea for being able to adjust the speed system? Any potential problems?

Its all here in this thread. Basically you need to put in the protune system, then do the long mixer test, adjust the system to get your lines zero'd, then go fly the kite and adjust the rear line until its flying OK. If its stalling or the tip is folding its too tight. You will be surprised how much you might need to lengthen the rear line. An adjustable pigtail helps.
Remember that with the protune system you can account for bridle shrinkage by adjusting the protune speed system, so you wont need to add pigtails into the bridle. Thats why the long mixer test is more accurate (although maybe still not perfect :) )

Getting my kites ready for this year’s season and fitted a pigtail to extend the Z line as part of the tuning process.
Just need to test and adjust as required.

Why the need to add pigtails to brake lines? Isn't it enough to move the knot up the back line, as shown on Gunnar's video?

The PROTUNE upgrade for ch v1 is made two parts :

- PROTUNE

- kr1 extension

Or You can move the knot and don't use the kr1estension

Hi all, I recently bought a Brand new 13m R1 as it was on offer and I needed a foil for light wind foil boarding.
I flew it once in 8mph winds with the foil board and was impressed with the performance, but out of curiosity I decided to check the speed system.
I was shocked to find that the A B C didn't align and that there was 30 MM. difference between two of the knots.
I have done Gunnars Fix of fitting a pig tail and now they all align , Thanks Gunnar

But do you think this is right for a brand new kite to be this far out ?

Ps I have images but can't download, sorry !
