The Pansh A15, an A18 review

WAC or Diablo line are not essential, but just another option. I don't think most people realize the use of either completely. Even Regis hasn't tried them, I think, and he is trying to kite in wind most never will.

There is this thread with some pics of the diablo line viewtopic.php?f=197&t=2390597. The WAC is merely a line connecting B pulley to A. You can just use some kite line and tie it there. The important bits are getting it the right length so 1 it engages at the right point and 2 it doesn't limit the depower travel of B. You also need to make sure you connect it to A correctly so it can pull on A. If you connect it below the main/bridle join it may just slide and do nothing. If you connect it on the main loop side it'll pull the loop apart. You can run it through the bridle loops or tie it above the bridles so it pulls on the main/bridle join. Sounds complicated when I type it but really it is not, it's just one line on each mixer.

I know that you will hate me and isn't the right tread but I got a good deal for a OR Flite 14,5 2016 and the things that is a LEI can be helpful to learn hf as beginner in light wind days...no so heavy swimming session like with a wet foil I hope..maybe with 32 m line it can give me up on the board also with my 100kg of passion
But pansh still attract me for the price, the only things for pansh is that I have only one day off and I don't wanna be crazy to modify the trim line and try different settings,I need to ride soon and as much I can(in only one day weekly)

Pansh kite like a15 or Aurora v2 currently need no special setting out of the bag, it is the echo of mainly old defaults on previous models IMO.

However as a beginner, keeping the type of kite you are used to (LEI in your case) is a smart choice I think, up to the future time you may want to optimize your very low end , once full comfortable with HF to reduce risks of dropping the kite in the water.

No I don't hate you FlyingChef at all, I even recommend madmax7 use his LEI while learning to hydrofoil. My A15 needed no alteration out of the bag and flew fine. I have only adjusted it to see if I could improve it. It though like all foils will need adjustment after some time using it.

Any thoughts on how the A15 or Aurora2 would work out as Snow kites?

I think the A15 would be better because it is more stable.

yes. and more quick turning. but less hang time for "paraglider" use (expert riders only)

Hi, do you need to pay anything for customs for this kite when it arrives at your country ? What were your experiences ? Update: I had to pay a little 25,48 euro : 7,98 for taxes and 17,50 for handling costs.
