The Real video really makes me dislike all that spaghetti hanging out the trailing edge of the kite...their Z bridling looks like a drag monster.

I have the 9m and 12m Elite kite (the same kites Julien used for the video here on Maui). I love the kites and I wasn't sure I would. It's my first Foil kite in over 14 years. (F-One monster almost took me out back in the day) These kites are easy to use and forgiving as a new foil kite rider. It's very predictable and motors upwind and is a light wind machine with excellent range.
Yes I sell the kites here on Maui. It doesn't change the fact that over a year and half went into the development of the kite and everything was evaluated in the design.
This is the first generation and impressively made by the same same factory that makes LEI kites. This fact alone that the factory has partnered with the the manufacturer to go through the learning curve means that in the future the price and performance will be moving to the customers advantage. As far as performance now. I don't want to change my bridles after 60 hours. So I'll sacrifice that performance edge and work on my foiling skills and wings to beat other guys around a race coarse if it come to that. And if I don't beat who I want to I'm not going to blame the equipment. It'll probably be because I blew a maneuver.
Aloha,

Any bar length should work, the biggest variable with foil kites is line length and the placement of your front line Y...kites designed for a low Y need a bar designed that way or they'll be the wrong shape in the air.

50 cm for a 15m foil kite I don't think so try at least 58cm.

Ozone and Flysurfer have their bridle plans on the homepage, but also haven't found them at LF. Have you asked your shop or LF directly?

If you broke some lines you can take measurements from the other side of the kite.
Because Elite is a high AR kite it is quite sensitive to bridle/speed system tolerances, but it shouldn't be too difficult to get it right.
Elite has a huge amount of bridle line and if I remember correct it was meant to keep it stationary better than in race kites usually. But if it goes out of tune due to line shrinkage it can be very laborous to get it fixed.
