Chrono V2 18m is one on the most stable and nimble large foils ive flew.
Ive steers first time foil-kiters away from R1 to a 18m ChronV2 and they have loved it. Been a great example for the model here locally all summer long.
Ive flown it several times and its been without any issues as you experiencing with your.

It should fly perfectly straight out the box.
The variation you have on your bridle doesnt sound right. send a not direct to ozone.
Also check your flying lines to make sure they even.

Contact ozone direct if you importer is not sorting you out.

You need to fly more foils then. Anything with an AR circa 6.5-7 could not be thee most stable.

I have Chrono's (V1) (18m,12m,9m) and they all fly perfectly. Many years of flying foils kites may be a contributing factor, however these kites as stated are "fly out of the box kites" and you really shouldn't need to be measuring bridle lines of a new kite, unless you "believe" there is a technical problem.

I have seen duds from most brands. Some faults really only turn up when flying the kites, which no one in the supply chain is going to do.

I got from my reseller a new Chrono V2 15m and I have no problem with it. The only issue I have that it have too much backstall. But that's a simple remedy.
The importer here said there is nothing wrong with the Chrono 18 meter I gave back. :-?
But my reseller tried it a few weeks back again and he got big problems with the kite.
Tips clapped for no reason back together, as before! I am happy it is no longer my problem.

Okay, thanks for the update. Presumably the kite will be heading back to the Ozone Factory in Vietnam for investigation.
If there is a problem with it, (Canopy or bridle) do you think you will be made aware of their findings,? would be nice to know.
