Looks quite cool, except it.. appears to be open cell. Cell count is low, no complicated patterns, AR still high, would be light and good for a hydrofoil. Almost onto a winner there pansh just needed some closed cells. If does have drainage so it could technically be used on water, it would just be very technical to use and difficult very difficult. It is very cheap $269 for a 15meter. Would be a good option for people wanting a land kite and not wanting to trash their expensive water kites. Interesting the Russian design team was involved again the same guys that helped with the A15. Who are these people and how do they know their shit so well?

Well maybe next time pansh, make it good, make it closed cell, sell heaps.

Weird I wonder how it works? I am sure reinforcing it or repairing cant be too hard, just use some E6000.

Is the major difference between the Blaze and the Aurora that the Blaze is open cell with an internal fifth line while the Aurora is closed cell without the internal line?

I think the cell count is different and shape and AR. Open cell is quite a big difference it excludes water use basically. I don't understand this internal safety line. External fifth lines work fine if you want a dedicated line. Maybe it prevents tangles more?

I didn't mean to imply the two kites were identical or that open vs closed cell was a small difference, mostly just wondering if they're both likely to perform similarly since they're two high ar kites from the same company. As far as I can tell the new Blaze looks like a cheaper version of the Aurora for kiters that stay off the water.

I have a 2016 ozone with the internal fifth line. Ozone calls it "re ride". That suggests the intention is to be able to relaunch after release without any or much effort.

Yes, the ozone system is very good. It scrunches the kite together and makes for a very reliable relaunch after 5th line activation.

Again, what, if any fabric is the internal line touching?
