Interesting, saving the "tidbit" modifications for a bigger paradigm shift

Basically through testing it was discovered that the V2 was not slower than the V3 and still winning races against the new kites. The V3 has a bunch of new tech, which makes it a better kite, but by the time the kite would have been delivered (3 months time for some), other brands might have developed something better. So might as well stay with a winning kite like the V2 and use that tech to make something much faster and see what the others come up with first.

Really bizarre to announce it, wait a few weeks, then pull it from their website. I've been watching the fb second hand kite racing pages, and people were already selling off their r1v2 kites in anticipation of their r1v3 orders!

So they plan a bigger production for the r1 in the future?
I heard that the v3 was way harder to fly and that was also one of the reason why they stopped.
So is there any plan when they release a new one? I mean it would be just fair to announce this, after this crap. Like said, many already sold there v2......

I can't help thinking that it really doesn't matter how many revisions they release, you buy the kite you want, if they release 10 minor variants in the next 10 weeks, you still got the kite you wanted?

That's a very weird justification for pulling a product...

I don't like the new colors. I'm glad I've got the orange one from before.

Hi Guys,
You can still get the R1V2 in the old colors too. The 3 new colors are just additions.

Flysurfer sonic race (v3) due out too.
So no....it will never end
The flysurfer sonic race is NOT the sonic3!!!
The "race" is a special version for racing!!!

All white looks nice. I know a guy that has had a couple r1v2 "wedding dress" kites for a while.
