Yeah it's a terrible idea :D

If you must, leash the safety line to something...

Do not anchor by the chicken loop and the risk is almost non-existent. Foils can easily be anchored by the rear lines especially if a stall handle or brake crossover is installed. Almost every nightmare story we hear is because people try to anchor off the chicken loop and rely on the depower to keep things in check. It simply doesnt work that way with a few exceptions like the FS Peak or Peter Lynn Arcs.
Agreed, you will destroy the kite or worse. I tried just for fun trying to park my 12m speed5 on the edge of the window in steady hatteras wind in the sound, just like I would 100's of times on LEI. LEI you can park and go for lunch and it will bob and dance nicely for hours. No way in heck would the speed even sit for long enough to think about anchoring.

Landboarding we always tethered the kites ....mind you the older flysurfers were great wil the real line brakes. Hook your leash into the stake and the kite would stay there all day long.

Phsycho 3's are good for this as well as the had the Oh shit handles.....never had to try with the newer speeds though.
