The eighth iteration of the Elf Joker is out:
https://www.elfkite.com/kites
With a projected AR of around 6.7 for the 11m, and closer to 6.9 for larger sizes, I believe this is the highest aspect foil kite now on the market. For comparison, the Ozone R1v2 is relatively low aspect at around 5.7. I am curious about its handling, and also weights.

Flat on the ground, but not projected. The Joker 8 is 7.5 to 7.9 flat on the ground, and has slightly less arc than the sonic. Hence the slightly larger difference in projected AR.

@Bille, the Sonic 2 is older and lower aspect than the 2017 Sonic Race @jorisw was referring to. See
https://flysurfer.com/project/sonic-race/. Its projected AR is somewhere around 6.2, lower than the Sonic Race and Joker 8.

Other than Roman's daughter Elena, not many use them for hydrofoil racing on water, but they're all over the snow/ice scene. I think they have a large market share of eastern europe/scandinavia compared to other brands. They're really good kites if you get them dialed, but the Joker 7 was a bit heavy compared to its peers ,so it never really performed as well on the water compared to F-One, Ozone, etc.
