Hi adventure logs , I’ve tried multiple bars from
Ozone race to home made north conversions with plenty of depower.

Like I say , I can get so much depower on that I loose the steering!

I did think of adjusting the Profile adjusters but on the Ozone site it says the if you do this that the wing tips can start to fold in light winds

What width bar?

Not that that would help with feeling overpowered but you need a good wide bar for good steering input.

I got to try the 21m Soul today in 4-6 knots. What a weapon! This is me filming my friend, I went out after him. I forgot to turn on my GPS but I reckon I hit 15 knots / 30 kph.

Hi cwood , 56cm

This seems fine in light winds but as I say as the wind picks up and you put the depower on the steering becomes very heavy / slow

Sorry that wasn't very clear. The wind stayed around 4-6 knots but I was able to achieve about 15 knots of board speed I reckon. I'd hate to be on the 21m in 15 knots of wind!

I think you need at least 60cm bar for good steering input.

Been out on my 12 mtr Soul about 6 times. On 2 occasions I have had the rear lines hook on the small stainless rings now used to attach the flying lines to the bridle. It doesn’t effect the flying characteristics and eventually clears if the kite is dropped.
Having used older flysurfers using easy line connectors I have not experienced this before.
Anyone else seen this problem or is it just me?

I see it most frequently on my Sonics. I hate the feel of it and generally work to clear it quickly. Have not seen on Souls yet.
