Select the weight you want to be then do the calculation. Then go about not eating more than that amount.
Yeah that might have a difference! should have been mentioned somewhere?

Which begs the question -- how to select suitable target weight?

1,800 now. Stupid equation.
Well that's the the difference from what you eat now to what you should eat to be at that target weight!......

For what its worth i think counting calories is not the way forward. Unless you really like the counting. The way forward is to change and improve the diet and so your not eating the shit. The rest will take care of its self.

Easy way to start. Kill any sugary drinks. Then when yourve tackled that. Kill the sugary snacks. biscuits, cakes, icecream, chocolate.....
If you do those 2 things, weight will start falling off you.

Another interesting thing to try is this.

Eat breakfast as late as possible, eat lunch late, eat dinner early. No snacks after dinner. If you eat breakfast late you are less likely to eat snacks between breakfast and lunch, Eat lunch late and dinner early means you are less likely to over eat at dinner as you are still partly full from lunch!
