It looks great, but lets face it, not many of us can afford CNCed blanks
Blank costs 65£, milling 15£, shipping 33£ ( if I order 3 blanks). I'd save 15£ if I didn't get it milled, increase my shipping costs and have to deal with a garage full of foam powder..

I'm looking into getting a cnc router. But there's no economy in it. I could mill 200 blanks for what it will cost...

Will have white deck pad with transversal black pad in the middle. Bottom is white...
It's black due to carbon

Hi Tom, thanks for sharing, your board builds are works of art! I am close to finished on my latest board, would you be kind enough to share how you, and at what stage of the process do you add your cool paint job with a carbon build? Also the tricks for the TW on the board, please.
I tried your Facebook, but that do not work for me.
I am making my toehooks, and then ready to add water, but if I can add a custom look like you have achieved, I would like to try, and it might keep the board cooler in the sun, black gets hot! Thanks!

Hi,
My boards are laminated with either clear resin or a resin tint to get color.
The blanks are white. The black stripe is the carbon.
This pocket board i had problems with carbon fibre getting onto the white rails. So after laminating deck, I painted the rail black with a paint called Montana Gold, in black color. Then I put last bottom laminate over in clear.
I have never done this before.
Normally I tint resin.
The logo is printed on a normal ink jet printer onto rice paper, then put under laminate. Rice paper goes transparent when wet out.

Your board looks already laminated and fill coated. To paint your board you should sand it smooth and then use 2 component polyurethane paint over as final coating. It is very difficult and requires spray booth and spray equipment to get pro finish.

TomW,
Can you post a close up picture of the rice paper you are using? All I can find is the rice paper from gift shops which has a lot of big and long fibers in it, i guess this is not the one...
Nice boards btw, whish i had your skills.
