Filling small pin holes and voids when painting wings/mast etc.

If you decide to paint your components you may find small pin holes or void appear after your first primer coat.

These small pin holes could be filled with superglue and sodium bicarbonate BUT this leaves a surface with a different absorption rate then primer paint which will show up on the final paint coats.

One way to keep the absorption rates constant is to replace the sodium bicarbonate with the primer paint itself as follows:

With a surface covered with dry primer paint place a drop of superglue over the pin hole or void then immediately before the glue dries sand with a piece of old sand paper. The superglue is mixed with the dry primer powder and immediately sets. The area is covered with a primer paint/superglue mix which is very close to the surrounding surface.
