So the boogie board wasn't quite strong enough just in front of the Tuttle box. I took my skilsaw and cut the board lengthwise down both sides of the box. Next I filled the kerf with a couple layers of 20 oz uni (my favorite).

That did the trick!

Riding a strapless boogie board is a novelty indeed. First I tried with a 1300cm2 untuned floaty foil with very limited success waterstarting, mostly because of the floaty wing I think. Finally i put my newest tuned 800 cm2 wing combo on and the angels sang. I get a few flying foot changes but I have a long way to go to feel cool strapless!

The deck on the costco model is a bit slippery for the general public

As expected, nobody even wants to try it
