Kiteskiing in Colorado

Postby GITM » Mon Sep 01, 2003 7:06 pm

Hello,
I am new to this board and to this whole kite thing in general. Are there any Colorado Kiteskier's on the board? Where are the best places to put a kite up in the Denver area? I'm guessing I can just drive above timberline and find some good stuff. Or is out east in the plains better?

I ended up out in Hawaii for a couple months and got hooked on Kitesurfing. Now I'm back home praying for snow so I can try this out with my ski's.

Lake Dillon in the Frisco / Dillon area is sweet. Go out near the sanitation plant on the west end of the lake. major pow stash.
