Another great session. Zack who couldn't make it on Sat. called on Sunday and asked if Monday was an option. H'mm to kite or not "eh that is the rub Quoth the Bard" such a tough decision yeh sure I can. :P 3 miles of deep untouched drifts between us and kite lake, SURE lets go for it. Barely made it in. I would not recommend trying it again this year unless you have chains and very high clearance. I had a wore out old 4runner and equally worn out snow tires. Some how we made it to the lake. Man it was worth the risk of getting stuck. 14 to 16 mph steady with gust to low 20's but mostly steady. Lake had average coverage of 6 to 8". Zack's first session of the year and he smoked it. He was fairly lite on his 12m Matrix but I really wanted to see his new 15m ultra lite Chrono 2 but I'm pretty sure I would have deliver his car home to him in carbondale because he would have flown there on it  . I'm going to try to post some pics for you all, I haven't had much luck so far so sorry it they don't show up.

Rub it in Anthony, I'm stuck here at work! Waiting with bated breath for the big dump tomorrow that might finally get us onto to some normal terrain.

Man, no kidding. The only snow I've seen this year is in post cards. So jealous. Way to get after it Anthony; sounds like a blast.

Short ride today before the storm with the 15m.
Only 2/6 inches of snow so far at LH.
Was 45F at 10,000', in January, crazy.
Let see if this storm delivers.

So I'm going to try something new, actually setting a date way ahead of time. Next Friday the 19 Utah Tami is coming by to try out the Mesa. So let's make a date. Snow mobiles would make a good option, to get us into kite lake. I have one and might be able to line up a second. Let's make it an occasion.

Lizard was soooo good on Saturday.
5/6" of fresh, no tracks, blue sky and 18/20mph constant from the N.
Had a blast!

Good to hear Mickey We tracked up Crystal Saturday also, just enough wind and good coverage over the slushy ice. Itching to get off the flats! Word is that Big Mac is pretty close. Hoping for more snow Friday night.

Sweet pics, guys. Thanks for sharing! Nice to see the powder at LH and Crystal.

I got a snowkiting day with J.Regan out East. Was a load of fun. He's had several days on lakes and fields in his neck of the woods. I'm thinking of going to the Wyoming Lodge in February for some kiting. We'll see...

Where is Crystal? Was it North too?
I ll be a the Lizard Friday pm before the storm. Should be gusty SW.
Then Sunday could be a good’ North, after the storm, and good snow.
