Hey Capt, thanks for the inspiration last season. I picked up a drone with a "work" excuse.
Mickey, Crystal Lake is a postage stamp lake at the north end of Ironton. Spot gets bigger once all the bushes fill in which may not happen this year. It get's decent N thermal, analogous to Lemon Reservoir for us "San Juan Yankees". I wouldn't call it a destination but for us it's a good lunch spot with a CDOT sensor. I hope to rip up LH Sunday with 2' of fresh Ha!

Those are nice shots, Matt! And thanks again for taking me out last weekend.

Anthony, I'm still good for tomorrow if things are on track. Please let me know of any logistics (or just call/text).

Grand Mesa bus/zoo leaving lands End rd at 11:00 today report tonight. Well it was all of the above, 5 people 2 snowmobiles, one sled /trailer and the will to find a breeze. Tami and Cyd got out ahead of us all. But when I saw their single skin 4m Flysurfer' s I understood why. Now I know I'm kind of big but really they were pretty decently powered up. So why did I put up my 15m, because I could. I was a rocket waiting for a light and man did I put down some tracks. Once again I forgot to turn on the tracker till half way thru the session. I still logged 15 miles and tied my speed record at 28. Justin, my young padawon started the day pretty lit on a 8m Apex. Really kicking it, I broke into a smile when he said I think I was going up wind. He was! I'm sure it was Murphy who said pride comes before a fall :nono: Oh well he finished out the session on a 6. Over all great improvement in just a few days and no lasting injuries. Tom was also with us and was instrumental to our successful day(he had the other snowmobile and properly diagnosed why mine would not move, totally frozen up due to slushy lake surface.) Tom got some good passes in but is still having some issues. OverAll great day.

If anyone is in the Midwest and doesn't want to travel all the way out West, we have some excellent Snowkiting conditions on the Northern part of Lake Michigan. Check out our snowkiting lesson promo to see what the spot is like.

A big shout out to Anthony for sharing an excellent day. Thanks to Anthony, Tom and Justin for showing a couple of kite skiers a GREAT time. We really enjoyed your "kite lake" and the company.

Nice Mickey. Nope, not me, I was on kid patrol yesterday. Maybe Jeff, he has an orange 12m Envy? Hoping for LH tomorrow if it piles up but it looks stormy

Another shout out and Thanks to Anthony for making it happen yesterday on Grand Mesa. Great meeting Tami and Cyd as well. That was a thrill and I can't wait to do it again.
