Was it? :argue: I already told you the switch come with 5mm rope and you cannot use a single line with that CL.

Who told you about the single line? was it you? Switch never.

Who are you OP?

Look more closely at the Switch chicken loop system, it is one line that bends through the swivel, and attaches at the trimming cleat as two connections but is really one line, don't belive me? Take it apart and look at it, or better, ( please do not do this) cut " one of the lines" from your chicken loop and watch what happens to your center line, it will float and fly away ...........

I'm not backtracking an inch :D

I don't have this chicken loop. Of course I know it's one length of rope :)

It's a dual line CL, not a single line. Sir, you just admitted it's a dual line chicken loop when you wrote "cut one of the lines" from your chicken loop".

We agree!

Please, you're mentioning this "centre line" thing again and everyone is confused. If you notice, OP said that but HWK NEVER did and op's excuse was that "we're North Americans".

If Centre line is the CL rope, then what is a centre line called????

Haha yeah by the ozone in comparison from older kites is two redundant arranged individual lines. Yes " we can cut one of the lines beingr replaced " and as we see two there is really one, as it is a David copper field illusion however, if you splice the loop through the chicken loop. Then with a fid, splice the braided dyneema, it become two redundantly arranged lines with more strength as they are individual lines, that's how mine are set up

As nomialclature It could be a CL ( center line ) or Center Lead Line ( CLL ) but I undestand this to really be the " Depower Line " as the lead lines (outside left, right, or center ) typically run directly to flying lines,....where as the Depower line runs to a trimming cleat / strap, and or a QR ( quick release )
Honesty? It doesn't matter if the basic concept of what we aren't talking about is understood
