Website for Snow Depth Station Reports

Postby nate76 » Sat Nov 07, 2015 7:08 pm

Hey guys, I recently had someone share the following website with me, which I was unaware of. Thought it might be helpful for others.

The site allows you to hover/click on different weather stations and see what snow depth they are reporting:

There's this, http://www.weatherstreet.com/weather-fo ... -cover.htm , page down for 24 hr.
My fav for analysis paralysis, http://avalanche.state.co.us/observatio ... -stations/ , each station clickable. Check avy hazard while you're there.
Seeing is believing, http://www.keno.org/colorado_web_cams/colorado_cams.htm . And the CDOT cams, gonna tie streamer to this pole http://www.cotrip.org/map.htm#/default? ... raId=10863 .
The snow fills in here downwind of Cochetopa Dome, another park n ride off of Hwy 114.

I have rock skis, I'm going anyway.

Thanks for the links, Tony - would be great to get a thread going will good weather/snow links. Windyty is another one I use and tends to be pretty accurate for wind predictions.

Let us know what kind of success you had getting out this weekend!
