Sweet. I've done some kite-ice skating before it's much harder than it looks especially in gusty wind. Is that boat frozen in? Normally that would be a total loss because the ice crushes the boat.

Very nice ice! We luck into that occasionally, but its usually fairly short lived. The ice boats burst on the scene and rule for however long it lasts.
Have also seen people kite with long flat blade skates. The rockered blades on hockey skates get a bit chattery at speed on anything less than perfect ice. Most fun I've had kiting on skates is with a 3m trainer and no harness. Super fun, and easily passed around.
