Currently many things are pretty good if you like fast and firm. We have rain and a substantial warm up coming tomorrow which will soften up the deep snow with death crust but may make the lake surfaces completely wet. Should smooth out the rough ice.

This shot was Friday. Same conditions yesterday but will be down to bare ice in the next few days.
