We had a great Peak3 test session with a surfie skateboard (Smoothstar) Question is.
Does kite skateboarding or maybe an other more urban kite version, have a future? What kind of possibilities do we have or should be developed?

I do a bit of kite longboarding on occasions. My spot is pretty darn skinny and tight.

The single skin kites like the Peak look ideal for skateboarding. It must pack down super small for the skate home.
Just use shorter lines. I have flown with the bar hooked right to the bridle (no lines).
Flexboard with kite on short lines and paraskiflex bar.

Or no bar just with both handles held in one hand. So chill.

I started out kiting with a trainer kite and a Ripstik. I liked the Ripstik's short turning radius compared to a skateboard/longboard's turning radius.
I think a mountain board is best if you're looking to do anything other than cruise around. Or, I always thought it would be cool if you could put some type of bindings on a Skateboard/Ripstik... that way you can jump and such.

Get a smaller kite and set it up normally?

Short lines are fun. Easy enough to cut and splice a new loop in the lines. You can use the ends as extensions and therefore have full length or half length lines.

This video is good but doesn't show tapering the end of the splice which improves strength.
