Great table. Good remark for freestyle with a surfboard.
I would add that :
- in marginal winds, skis allows to move ahead and against the wind to tension the lines and keep the kite in the air.
- Upwind angle is also more efficient and easier to maintain in irregular winds.
- skis can become less confortable in long travels on same side since you naturally want to hold the bar with one hand only. This is increased if the kite has high bar pressure (LEI).
- incase of lack of snow it is easier to preserve skis from the rocks damage on the ground : you can transfer easily your weight on one foot to lift one ski when the rocks appears.
