North Xride vs Jaime Pro

Postby surfcanarias » Mon Aug 29, 2011 2:29 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm going to buy a new board and I'm interested in these two models (both 2011). For an heavy guy like me (I'm 90Kg, sometime 94kg) I am looking for a 137-136cm range.
Do you have any suggestion?

Hi,

I am around 100kg (usually a little bit over :-)) and have 2011 Jaime 137x43. Very smooth board with good low end. Forgiving landings and comfortable ride in chop. Good in small waves. I use it in marginal to medium powered conditions, although if I had not have a smaller board for powered riding it would have been more than capable of handling nurly conditions. My only complaint is that you have to ride with quite a lot of back foot pressure.
I have not ridden X-ride so cannot comment.
