Travel split surfboard

Postby trod27 » Tue Aug 19, 2014 3:43 am

Hello, anybody have any reviews on travel split boards? I like this one from Newind. pricey but it is carbon fiber and looks well made. I have a friend with the twin tip version which he likes.

I have a Newind twin tip carbon, super well made. I use it for all, not only for travelling.
Newind can make also different surf spit boards as that website.

These are all skimboard style surfboards. I don't prefer this style of surfboard in the waves, I prefer boards that are at least 2.25" (6.5 cm) thick. I am looking for a real surfboard split. The technology uses long rods that extend deep into the board. The technology has disappeared. Pope Bisect was one company that did it for surfboards. http://www.dailystoke.com/gear-categori ... pe-bisect/. If anyone knows of a full sized split surfboard, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks, liv2surf
