:o Take a look at this picture, this is what it looks like hooked up. The kite stays power tha same as if the bar was at full depower on your chicken loop line. Depending on your trim strap setting, you may or may not go for a Nantucket Sleigh Ride, kite style. I suggest a Leash with a Quick release, JIC. This Rig keeps you from having to reset your lines at the beach every time you almost land that new trick. I only do this on steady light wind (15MPH or less) days myself. Happy Winds, my 16M BFK just arrived and I have tomorrow off. :D

What knots did u use to tie that string onto the back of your harness? (The one the leash is attached to), and also, where is the handle on the back of ur harness, is it necessary to remove it?

I've got a Slingshot bungee, but i'll need to make my own back line with a piece of rope, and i have a DaKine Pyro.

Thanks for any help.

I would use a bowline knot to tie your rope to the rings on your Dakine harness. Add a couple inches of slack to the traveler line. Put a large stainless ring on there and then clip the Slingshot bungee to that. My Slingshot bungee has the QR and I leave that at my end of the leash. It is not necessary to remove the handle, but a good idea as sometimes the line can get hung up on it.

if i am just begining to do unhooked tricks do you think a suicide leash would be the smartest considering i would drop my kite all the time.... and now with the bows wouldnt the kite just depower and go to 12 position?

I ride Fuels, which have tha trimable stopper ball, so

-when i ride with it down (like a pulley bar) i place tha leash on the 5th, but with a shorten track !! so it depowers safetly and stays in thi air still !!

-when i ride with tha stopper up (like a bow kite) i place it on tha chiken ! it depowers quite much too !!

:) !
