I think there is no doubt at all no more....
This thread and results shows it clearly, even after only one half day.
THERE IS NO C or BOW KITE BORDERS ANYMORE !
So many different designs and approaches - but they are all very much the same - huge depower, tight turning, more hangtime, stable in the air, and fast relaunch
Whether it is bridled or not, pulleys or no pulleys - it is possible to obtain above characteristics with all designs.
Indirect or direct, loop power or smooth - can also be obtained with all designs now
Details are personal options we are offered, and can choose.
So I'll say, that today there is NO REASON at all, to distinguish between what "type" of kite you have.
It has all merged down to the same thing, namely what we want the kite to deliver !
One thing is for sure - the "Classic" C kite is dead, no doubt !
New C kites, or New Bow kites - but they are the same today, merging to one, using each others advantages
Lets talk about specific characteristics we like, and specific kites - and forget all about the C <-> Bow bashing
Nice to see that everything goes in the direction we all want - but we have to lose our old "prejudices" against the new or the old - things has changed and it is a new kiteworld we live in - AND A GREAT ONE
Kindly, Peter Frank
