What is important to you when buying new kitegear? What are the main arguments that you consider when you are buying your new gear?

Can you define the difference between tech specs and design? If there was a specific feature I liked such as a standard pump bladder over a one pump bladder, would that be a design or technical specification? I would call it a tech spec, I am not sure what a design would be unless it is graphics or shape such as delta, C, hybrid,....

This is flawed as there is more then one thing important when buying a kite. Even if the best price, if the design was no good what's the point? You need to change this so you can pick 3 or more options in order of importance.

this poll is way too general. gear is too wide general parameter, so are the variables in question.
so in my opinion this poll is as much worthless for the initiator as well as for the forum users...
so i pass

I also had trouble with "design." Do you mean the artwork on the kite?
And another category might be "performance." For example, I might want to get the kite with the best low wind performance. "Technically designed to have high performance in area x." With 'x' being relaunch, light wind, durability, etc.

This poll is worthless. I am confused as to what design and technical specs are. If you are talking about artwork, then you should have just said artwork.

Suits my riding style.
You can't trust reviews they all claim every kite is perfect for everything and only list silly small down sides, I should know I've written them

I agree...performance is key. Who cares about design??? ( well, I know women enjoy a nice design and colors, but most guys not).
