To make a long story short, the main bladder in my freakdog popped while I was pumping it up. The only thing I can think of is that some how the bladder was twisted inside the kite. Well it tore a hole in the leading edge fabric right along the main seam in a rectangle pattern. Now I think that they should warranty it but, if they do not cooperate what is the safest and best way to fix this?

Jeep,
Sounds like a stitching problem in the kite. If the bladder was twisted, it (the bladder) would have popped at the twist. The dacron LE is much stronger. How old is the kite?

The bladder should not have popped inside the leading edge, shouldnt think it was a twist, more likely as you said it tore along the seam, there was probably some of the seam stitching broken that you had not noticed. Would only need a few bad stitches, then once pumped up and under high pressure the bladder would force its way out the small hole making it bigger and then blow out.
You will need to get the leading edge repaired properly with stitching, kitefix or other tape will not hold it strong enough.
