Generally no. I prefer landboarding a big foil around 13-18 knots. But if conditions are right I can and do jump in landboards 25+. Have done so once this year i can think of. 25-30 knot session on the 8m catalyst.

So the act of jumping on land is not the issue i see in this instance. But the fact this guy does it too close to people down wind.

Rather than asking him to stop completely I wonder if there is a better way to approach this.
Maybe something like this

"Hey man those are sweet jumps, But i'm a little concerned about these spectators down wind. It would only take one gust to take you further than expected and potentially hit one of them. Can you jump over there where there is less people? or maybe leave it to another day when there is more room on the beach?"
