Hi I'm planning on surfing in tarifa from march to may. Has anyone been there? can you give me some tips? is it nice at these months, or is it too cold?
Thanks

Weather in Tarifa right now is freezing!....but by March things should really warm up a little. Can be a little unpredictable though!

Well in Denmark the water is 1 degree celcius and the air is about 5 degrees.
So i geuss it is a bit warmer then that?
How warm is the water? How is the wind now and in march? wich kite sizes do you normally use?
See you soon
Peace

Hi, I live 20 km far from Tarifa. You can have all information you need from internet. Look here for example:
http://www.windtarifa.com/index1.html
When wind is from W you normally use 12 meters or bigger
And when wind came from E (Levante) 12 meters or less
The water isn´t very cold, you won´t be cold with normal neopren suit.
This is another very good web for chek the meteorology at Tarifa spot:
http://www.ozu-tarifa.com/meteo.asp
Good luck! and see you at the beach!
Ah! And if you also want night parties, come in summer, you´ll be surprise, sure

i've been to tarifa 2 times at this time of year, the wind can be very strong in tarifa. make sure you have a small kite 7m, 8m or 9m
