You also forgot Oman - Masirah Island. June, July and August.

Starts end of May and ends beginning Sept.

25 to 30 knots, non-stop everyday. Waves, flat water, anything you want. every wind direction is possible because its a small island. Sleep in your 4x4 or in a 4 star hotel.

I am surprised to see Namibia only listed in the months of November and December. After all, Speed Week goes on in the months of Sept and Oct, so at least you should add those months as well.
I was there last year during December. This place is amazing. I kited at Walvis Bay. The lagoon is amazingly beautiful, with knee-waist high during hight tide (very convenient). Be careful during low tide bc the water can be only a couple centimeters in some areas of the lagoon.
The best part is you only have 5 kiters in the water at all times, and the local kite school always has a man on the beach to help land your kite.

if you want more enough, just ask.

Likewise, if Watergate bay in the UK is on here, (I used to love taking by surf board there), then Grand Cayman has to be on this list - a highly underestimated destination in my humble opinion.

The windiest season is between Oct. and May. During this time the wind blows over 15 knots 80+% of the days. Typical days are 15-22 knots, with weather fronts bringing days of 20-30 knots. The air temperature is always above 70F (20C), usually closer to 80F (26C), and the water never goes below 77F (24C).

Kiteable in pretty much any wind direction, (the benefits of living on a smaller island). Warm, beautiful waters, huge uncrowded areas for downwinders with boat support, flat areas, waves outside the reef and sandbars to rest and teach from. East End and Barkers are the two most popular spots.

We wouldn't be running a school here, if there wasn't consistant wind :D

I observe that the areas around Mediterranean are the best for windy holidays , especially in the summer.

This is Mexico basically, best months to go to these spots:

La Ventana - November / April (Frontal+Thermal)

Puerto Vallarta - Feb / June (Thermal)

Acapulco - Jan/May (Thermal)

Northwest Yucatan, Progreso - Year round, windiest most consistent spot in Mexico, but best months Jan / June (Trade winds + thermals, frontal winds in the winter) , July / August less windy months still with many 10-15 knot days.

Riviera Maya (From Cancun down) - October / April May (Frontal)

Gulf of Mexico, Veracruz/Tampico - October / May (Frontal mostly, some thermal)

Northern Baja (San Quintin / San Carlos Wave spot, Pacific) - I think year round, best months May / October , have not kited there.

I'm thinking to go to Riviera Maya the first 2 weeks in November, what do you think? Any tips? I'll be looking for a last minute deal somewhere ;-)
